This site started as a place to post old family pictures so that more information could be learned about them through the comments of friends and relatives. It languished for a while, but I recently made some changes in order to share pictures from a couple of family events. The first was the Crab Fest at my Uncle Mike’s place in St. Michael’s. Those are on the page Crab Fest. The second was a gathering of my father’s cousins at John Coffman’s house in Annapolis. The pictures from that are on the page Cousin Fest.
Both of these events were a lot of fun, and I appreciate everyone’s cooperation in posing for these pictures. If you have any difficulties with the site, or suggestions for improvement, please let me know. I imagine that over time this will become a valuable family archive as more pictures are added, including a lot of scans of photos from generations ago. It’s a work in progress. The nice thing about this format is that it is very easy share pictures and comments about them.
If there is anyone pictured on this site who doesn’t know about it, please contact them and let them know. I don’t have contact information for everyone, but with a network of people spreading the word, everyone involved should at least be able to find out about it.
On the right of the photo pages, there’s an eagle with a microphone. That’s a link to another website I maintain. Please feel free to check it out.
So that’s it for now. Enjoy the pictures!
